Set up a drawing tumblr. I've been using tumblr just for fun and thought I'd see how a sketchblog type thing would go given the ease and nature of posting there. So far so good.

Working on logo updates for a church back in Wisconsin, sold a coupld pieces at the MCAD Art Sale this past weekend. Waiting on word from some jobs and working on my website. Odds and ends.

Well, after the respite I'm back and ready to get posting all the things that I have backed up and never showed. I'm graduated and searching for work (have found bits and pieces but not steady yet). First this which was a spec piece for a book cover. I'm currently working on the actual cover which will be rather different. This is actually one of my more recent things.

Next up: my senior project pieces.

Two more days of class, working away at interning with Children's Theater(just sent off revised sketches!), and closing in on Graduation day!

One thing of note is that The Society of Illustrators LA Site is up for the Illustration West 48 competition. Which for my library piece was accepted for! You can check me out here in the student category. Navigate with the side scroll bar, I'm 4th down on the right under 'Certificates of Merit'. Check out some of the other work too, it is so exciting to see what illustrators are doing, and the work all looks amazing(hence why it's in the show).

Poster 1 of 12, doing some collage on 6 at the moment. In very good shape and pleased with how things are going.

Two more from Illustration 4. I'm not in love with the text on the ACLU poster but otherwise I'm pretty happy.

I have more pieces because I just don't keep up well during the semester but htose will have to wait. I should probably sleep now anyway...
